Which hours can be expected in London IB (lateral consultant)

See title. So many different intel on this. In general, what hours could I expect working in a well reputed London based BB

Particularly interested in:

- Do people leave earlier on Thursday/Friday?

- How long do people stay on avg. Mo-Wed?

- How common is it that banks expect to work on e.g., Sunday?

Damm. I am currently pulling Mo-Wed  9-10.30 / 11ish , Thursdays around 8 and fridays around 6. No weekend work.

Seems like I will be shafted immensly by switching to the M&A advisory side.

Yeah but I've always thought the propagated hours are more peak / crunch phase (e.g., similar during a stressfull DD with a demanding PE client in consulting).

So you're telling me pretty much the norm is to stay past midnight everyday except friday?
