Credit risk vs commercial banking credit analyst both at a BB. Would like to move to IBD or CB eventually. Which job would allow me to more easily pivot to IBD or CB or are they about the same?
To my understanding, both jobs are quite similar in that you focus on credit/risk analysis but commercial banking credit analyst also works on deals whereas credit risk helps to approve these deals.
