Why You Became a Career Banker?
At what point did you decide to make a LT career out of investment banking? From past interviews, I’ve heard senior bankers say it still sucks from time to time but it’s also exciting knowing your hard work/persuasive skills helped close a deal. Also you make a boatload of money, considering the educational requirements (opportunity cost of 3-4 years + debt from med/law school).
What factors did you consider before deciding not to recruit for PE/HF or F500?
