Get some balls man. Shoot for BB gigs, you never know what could happen. Just narrow it down to what exactly it is that you want to do.

Remember man, there are hundreds of banks in this country. If you wanna do IB, look for IB opps all over the country. (Keep BB in mind however)

If you wanna trade, then go for a trading gig, even if it's not BB/get exp then move on) Trust me, SOMEBODY will let you fuck up their P&L while you still have milk on your breath. Make it happen...

thanks for the words of encouragement. While i would love to think bigger, its been extremely difficult getting a role as a front office analyst in trading/banking. I've applied to about 40 different roles and gotten zero responses :( Controls/Ops are the only ones that respond. I dont think my resume is terrible or anything I just think my school is wats probably keeping me down. Its heavily recruited for controls & ops positions by the BB's.

As far as narrowing it down, i would love a position in either trading or banking. (Slightly stronger interest in banking but i really do have a keen interest in both, so i wouldnt mind either roles)

Worst case I might have to settle for an analyst position in financial controls (~70k/yr, 45-50 hrs a week max, its definitely not terrible or anything, its just that i think the work is very dull/dry)
