Advice on Internships after graduation

I recently graduated from a semi-target school in Canada and have had a difficult time looking for full-time opportunities (as I'm sure most recent graduates have). My most recent internship was in Corp Dev and allowed me to gain some valuable deal experience in the tech/infrastructure industries. 

Does anyone have advice on taking an internship after graduation? I've had some leads on some opportunities in real estate/ infrastructure, but am wondering if this is a bad idea and I should just stick to full-time ops.
