Am I doomed for a Master's Degree?

Hi everyone, I am currently a second-year business student (UG, European mainland target BS) and considering applying to all M&A shops (from Tier 1 to 3).

My background: I scored a decent High school GPA (3.7) but when I entered BS my grades dropped to 2.0 (horror). However, through extensive networking I got an internship at a BIG 4 advisory division, internship in London (tech) and a M&A off-cycle internship this winter at a European tier 3 bank.

Although I consider visiting M&A workshops and corporate dinners my new hobby, I begin to believe that networking won’t help me this time (GPA).

Is it possible to get a decent SA internship given my GPA/experience or am I doomed to do a master’s degree to get a foot in the door?
