Am I Finished?

Please be as blunt and straightforward as you need to be, I don’t want any sugarcoating. I’m a 2nd year student (now going into 3rd year) at a complete non-target in the UK and I want to break into S&T.

I’ve got no relevant work experience (although I will be shadowing an FX broker / currency solutions company for a week this summer). I’ve not had an internship and the standing of my university is shit, put simply. I have terrible A-Levels so most, if not all, target unis won’t consider me for a transfer (I’ve asked around).

I will continue to apply for grad schemes/roles and internships for S&T. But genuinely what are my chances of breaking in? Am I wasting my time?
