Applying for Off-Cycles with Summer internship secured

Background: I graduated in 2024 from a semi-target school and decided to take a gap year before pursuing a Master’s in September 2025. My goal is to attend one of the top business schools while gaining additional experience and saving up some money during this time. During university, I completed two internships but didn’t secure a return offer after my second internship at a BB.

Since then, I’ve been actively recruiting for summer positions and have successfully secured a summer internship at another BB for this summer, which will take place before my Master’s starts. One of the key reasons for pursuing a Master’s is to also remain eligible for summer internships this year.

Now that I have secured the internship, I’m wondering how to best approach the rest of the year, particularly regarding my CV. Should I mention the summer internship on my CV &/or interviews, or perhaps not be open about it in applications in the meantime? I’m thinking it might add more weight to my profile, but im not sure. With it being October, I am focusing on off-cycle’s starting Jan. 2025 and finish by Jun. 2025 just before my summer starts. Thoughts?
