Asking for advice - How to move out of Corp Dev

Hi all . Due to issues with my old firm I had to take a job in Corp Dev to to avoid a gap. The hours to pay ratio sucks and the job itself isn't stimulating. Luckily it's in quite a high growth tech space so my story sort of lines up. I feel so stuck here and would love to get out soon.Would love some advice on the best strategy to move out soon - how soon is too soon (is 6 months ok?) and what’s the best strategy to do so. Should I be aggressively putting myself out there to recruiters or would that look strange and ultimately be counter productive. Ultimately like to move back to PE or go into VC. I’m lucky to still be relatively junior and have a few strong brand names on my resume. Would love to hear stories of anyone’s whose successfully managed to move out of corp Dev.
