Barclays Graduate Program - Credit Research Analyst

Hello Everyone,

A quick background on myself. I am an MBA student graduating soon. Worked 4 years at an institutional investor and then interned at a top credit shop during my MBA.

I am writing this post to inquire about the graduate program at Barclays as I was just invited to interview for the credit research analyst position. I am curious if this is a good fit given my background. Also, I would not want a job that would be mechanical in terms of modeling and slide formatting. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy those tasks and believe it is an essential part of the job. However, in my previous roles I was also involved in thesis development and structuring trades, which I enjoy a lot. Also another concern that I have is the salary as I am newly married and now more than ever I am less willing to make sacrifices on the salary front.

Appreciate any input!
