Becoming a quant through LSE
I have posted a few times about this, I have an offer for LSE and an offer for a 4 year integrated masters at imperial college london. I have been told that maths at imperial would be the best option to to pursue a quant route. However I really prefer LSE as a place and its position in London and its contacts to the industry, is there a way to become a quant through LSE or is the maths department just too weak.
In my small sample size, I know 4 HF quants from imperial while 0 from lse. If you want to be a quant at a bank either should be fine.
