BEST WLB EXITS FOR AN IB ANALYST
How do the different WLB exit options compare for someone who completed their first few analyst years at IB? I am literally open to anything and happy to take a pay cut, have heard of FoF, IR, PWM, family offices, even some investing roles at pension funds etc. Finding it hard to compare these, and I know it can be team dependent but I’m interested in general takes, for example I have heard of some instances of late hours caused by toxic colleagues at FoF, but not so many examples for IR.
Is it even possible to get any of these as a junior, or do I have to wait until I’m an associate in IB?
