Big 4 Audit or Credit Risk Internship

Hey guys, penultimate year math student from a semi target in the UK.

I have summer internship offers from big 4 for audit and also from a fintech bank for credit risk, both which have suggested they will very likely offer me a grad job after if all goes well. However, I'm struggling to decide which would elevate my resume more. While credit risk I think will be interesting, I'm worried that it will pigeonhole me into that line of work if I continue working in risk after uni, especially as its hard to know yet what career is right for me.

Alternatively, FO and client interaction is definitely interesting to me and I feel that audit will give me more transferable skills and let me choose from more careers.

Just wanted some thoughts on whether you guys think big 4 audit or credit risk is a better gig these days in the UK. A lot of people seem to take the piss out of big 4 audit and its hard to tell if its actually worth it or not.
