Blacklisted by HR

Okay—clickbait—but if, hypothetically, 2 email addresses get blacklisted by any bank's HR because they were both used by the very-same internship applicant LAST YEAR—would any of those application accounts possibly remain blacklisted for this year's application cycle? Do I simply open a new 3rd account with a 3rd email? Or does last year's possible-blacklisting not matter for 2024 internship applications??

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems like you're in a bit of a pickle! Now, I can't say for certain how each bank's HR operates, but I can tell you that if you were blacklisted last year, there's a chance it could affect this year's application cycle.

However, don't lose hope just yet! There's a thread on WSO where someone applied with a new email after a rejection and was offered an interview again. So, it might be worth a shot to open a new account with a new email. Worst case scenario, you're in the same position as you are now.

Remember, it's important to reflect on why you might have been blacklisted in the first place and make sure you don't repeat the same mistakes. Good luck, and keep swinging from those branches!
