Breaking into Deal Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Financial Due Diligence

I am an upcoming graduate from a prestigious T20 university, and I recently received an audit offer from one of the Big 4 accounting firms. While I am undoubtedly excited about this opportunity, I am particularly passionate about pursuing a career in Transaction Advisory Services, Financial Due Diligence, and Deal Advisory. Therefore, I am keen on exploring ways to break into these roles before my start date.

I would greatly appreciate any tips or guidance you may have on how I can increase my chances of transitioning into these areas. Should I directly reach out to Big 4 advisory partners, senior associates, or managers to inquire about potential opportunities or seek a referral? I believe that connecting with professionals who have expertise in these areas could provide valuable insights and potentially open doors for me.
