Canadian IB for Internationals

Yes I know that breaking into Canadian IB in general is very hard due to the small marker (the figures I got were ~200 hires a yr). But how much MORE difficult is it for an International?

I have an offer from smith commerce which has 96% placement rate and is a top target for IB. And if you dig a bit on the Queen's university website more than 50% of them are international students.

So like I said I just wanna know how much being an international disadvantages me. Because I know Canada is more liberal with its work permit so the visa isn't a problem as much as it is in the UK or US.
