Career Advice

Hey guys, semi new monkey to wso here. Was wondering if anyone could give me some career insight

What are some good insightful questions to ask myself to get a better idea of what career would fit me best? Any additional advice to my current situation is also welcome (context follows).

Currently studying in a top Spanish university (think ICADE/ESADE), pursuing a double degree in law and business administration. Ranking 1st in my class, currently in a leadership role in a finance society, mainly interested in business/finance but I don’t throw away big law m&a.

Been actively recruiting for London IB and Madrid MBB for summer internship positions and having some success getting past the first rounds of interviews. Also already have secured a couple of internship offers from big law firms in Spain but I asked for some time to think about it.

Been in a couple calls with people working in BB banks and from guys at MBB and can’t really decide where should I go with my career. Both paths seem attractive in their own sense: consulting offers variety while a successful career in banking allows you to become a very skilled professional (added to the fact that compensation in finance is almost double…). Advice is very welcome!
