Career implications moving from large commercial bank FO to corporate treasury at a BB?

I am looking at an offer to move to a BB's treasury dpt in funding/liquidity management where the role looks really cool and aligned with my interests. I also have about 5 years of front office experience across institutional coverage and derivative sales at the largest commercial bank in my market.

I would love to do a 2 year stint in treasury and expand my knowledge of capital, liquidity, and regulations. There is also the obvious benefit of moving to a BB where pay is likely to be higher and there will be more opportunities internally.

My only real concern is that am I limiting my ability to return to FO roles by spending time in Treasury?

Keen to get thoughts!
