Change SA Offer to FT Offer?

I recently received & signed a SA23 offer with a top BB through a diversity program. However, while I'm a sophomore (Class of '24), I can finish school in 3 years and graduate as a class of '23 because of previous credits. If I do that, can I ask the bank to change the SA23 offer to a FT23 offer? If at all possible, how / when should I go about asking for that?

Thanks for any input!

I was in the exact same situation as the OP last yr with a top BB as well. They will almost 99% not allow you to just change your SA to an FT offer (as with my experience). Think about it. If they allowed this, every SA would just ask for this so they are basically "guaranteed" a full-time position at the bank and this would essentially defeat the whole purpose of internship programs (to weed out people for FT).

Know someone at a top BB was able to get a January start doing something similar, but at a shop I previously worked at, you could only start alongside the remainder of your cohort the following August. You're exactly right that most places will not allow automatic conversion to immediate full time, and most shops will ask that you start with the rest of your cohort.
