Clunky recruitment processes

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted. Just thought I'd give you something to laugh about regarding a recent recruitment process:

"Audit and Accounts" internship opens on 20th September. I apply day 0.

Sent a weird email how tests are only sent out on Mondays and Thursdays. I get test on 23rd September and complete it same day.

1st Interview scheduled 15th October, make it through 21st October.

Here's where it gets weird..

7th November - "We're just arranging your final stage", I acknowledge same day.

6th December - I ask what's happening - I get a reply on 13th December along the lines of  "We're just arranging your final stage".

Communication is now with 2 HR people rather than one, which makes communication more challenging than it needs to be.

16th January - Get an interview confirmation for 24th February.

By this point, any motivation I had for this job was gone. I had a better offer. For completeness I had a grad offer and just wanted some cash over the summer so applied for various things in middle/back office and professional services firms.

18th February - Email with joining instructions. 3 different teams calls in 2 hours? okay

24th February - Im told to join 10 mins early for instructions. I'm told 'wait in the call, someone will join you for each session' - okay, but a little confusing.

I prepare for my case study, and the time to present hits. I wait around for a few minutes, and nobody joins. I then join the Teams link where they are waiting. Thanks HR. (Probably should've asked for clarity).

Interview time - I'm being interviewed for tax! wtf? Hahaha - I was very close to withdrawing on the spot, but wanted to ride it out anyway.

26th February - "We'll get back to you by next week!"

13th March - Rejection email - Scheduled a call with the recruiter to tell him what I think of their processes. The aim is getting blacklisted.
