Commercial banking to Fintech sales

Alright,

I need some advice, recruiters, bankers, commercial real estate and tech world folks. I have come to a crossroads in my career. I received a finance degree in 2013, hired right out of school to work for a commercial real estate lender. I was there for about 5 years and recently moved to a regional bank. I have been at the bank for 4 months. Great things to say about the bank. I am primarily a CRE lender, starting to see some traction. Pay is OK not great. The group is OK, not great, and I could see my self there for 10-15 years if I WANT to. I was approached by a Finance TECH company that specializes in fraud prevention to work in their sales department. I know the group well and feel confident that I can do well there. The pay sounds like it would be 20K more in base pay and about the same in bonus.

Where I need your help...
What are your thoughts on moving into the TECH world? (especially from commercial banking)
Do you think a 4-month stint on my resume will be that damaging?
What is a typical move AFTER (2-3 years) in Tech sales?
