Continuing to look for jobs after accepting FT offer??

Accepted FT offer after completing SA stint last summer. Now realizing I don't want to live in the city where the job is located. Would rather switch out of IB than stay and live there. A few questions about this process below.

If your current employer finds out you are actively recruiting before starting full-time can they pull your offer (and/or have you heard of this actually happening)?

If recruiting is risky for the reason above, would you feel confident recruiting in a different subset of finance and a different city?

What would I say to prospective employers when they see my SA stint and ask if I received a FT offer? I don't want to show a general lack of commitment but is wanting to be in a different city a good enough explanation?
