Data Science to Real Estate

I am in my late 30s and have a PhD from Stanford (non CS but hard science). I have been most recently employed at the intersection of business at Machine Learning at a large manufacturing F500 and make ok salary for where I live (I work as a Senior Manager). The real rub is that my industry and company are dying and I have made my mind to make a move. I also possess a strong background in Finance theory and have a good sense of risk/return concepts. I have been successful as as investor for about 8 years (though what SPY did this was not too hard). About 2 years ago I started buying Real Estate in Raleigh and Jacksonville (small multifamily). One deal led to another and now I have amassed a total of 100 units. There is also a partner involved who helps run the ship. Some of my strengths are:

  1. Fairly good in tech skills (more mathy and less CS'y though) - I can write decent code but a SW at Google will beat me any-day
  2. Passion for RE and RE investing mainly fund raising and deal flow/analysis
  3. Good business acumen

Now here is my question: I have decided to move on and get a new gig. The reason is the RE is not big enough to support me full-time and also the fact that we run a very tight ship that only needs me 4-6 hours per week. Its a hard one but given what I told you guys about, what would be your advice? I have been reading this book called "Getting There" which often talks about ones passion. I don't think my passion is pure tech, it perhaps is some tech and a lot of human interactions etc. Given my age and my experience I also want somewhat senior roles (with some autonomy)

Some options I am considering (all with a healthy bit of business focus as opposed to just tec).
1. Data Science roles at a Real estate fund
2. Data Science in Healthcare (of potential interest)
3. Data Science roles at McKinsey (though I feel I will be a cog in the wheel there)
4. Data Science at a Bank (lease preferred as I will most definitely be a cog in the wheel)
5. Startups (will perhaps grind me to the ground)

Would love to hear comments/views and many thanks in advance!
