Didnt get an IB summer internship for London 2023, what now?

I graduate from my masters programme in 2024 and am already taking 2 years to finish it even though it is a 1 year programme, so postponing graduation is very undesirable. Already did 1 internship at a national bank (non-BB) and have time for 1 or 2 more. Recruiting for FT 2024 already starts next summer though, and there's obviously no way to do a summer internship at a BB before then. Am I screwed? I always thought an IB BB summer internship in London was pretty much mandatory if you want an FT offer.

How are you so sure summer 2023 is a complete write-off for IB SA? Have you gotten rejections from most of the firms still running ACs?

There are some firms that take final year students for SA, that would most likely be your best option for summer 2024.

I'm in a somewhat similar position. Want to recruit for London but only ended up with an offer at a leading regional bank. Probably a bit too late to recruit for off-cycles during this spring. Can't really do off-cycles during the fall of 2023 or spring of 2024 either because I will be doing my 1-year masters then. I have already done 1 internship in IB at a regional bank and 2 in PE at major European PE firms. I guess my only option is to recruit for FT 2024 positions. I could of course recruit for SA 2024 positions as well, but the applications are open at the same time so I don't know if it would be allowed to apply for both. I might also have to consider other industries, such as consulting or asset management

This is what I've been thinking about as well, especially after some of the recommendations in this thread. If you want to brainstorm about planning around this feel free to PM me.
