Email Formats if there are multiple people who fit that email
Lets say there is a John Smith and a Justin Smith. Based on what I've seen, they should both have the same emails ([email protected] and [email protected]). If I was looking to network with one, how would I know that they're the right person? Plus how would I figure out their email if this situation arises? I would assume some firms would add a number to the end or something.
My bank is [email protected] but have noticed when there are 2 people with the same name (even if they don’t work at the bank at the same time) it usually becomes [email protected]. But at my bank (and I assume most) you pick what your email is so lots of people have their emails as their nicknames (so their LinkedIn says John Smith but their email is [email protected] or [email protected] etc). In my group, 60% of peoples emails don’t match their LinkedIn names.
Gotta get connected some other way
