First Spring Weeks, now Summer Internships: new accounts on job application sites, a clean slate?
Hi everyone!
In a couple of months, Summer Internship applications across the UK are going to open which made me wonder: should I create a new account on all those banks' job application systems? I've forgotten the passwords for most of them (to be fair, Apple's Keychain can't distinguish between the plethora of Taleo-hosted job sites) and some of them even have unfinished applications. It's no secret that banks assess you from start to finish so who's to say that when submitting my application the recruiter doesn't see some profile information like "has two unfinished applications" or "had to reset password" that reflect badly on my profile. And then maybe if it's me against some other applicants, he chooses the one who follows through with his applications and doesn't leave them half-finished.
What does everyone think?
you can make new accounts, but banks (e.g. CS/DB) will link them anyways
