French Background Checks
Hey,
Trying to help a friend of mine out. He gave up on IB a while ago, having a conviction for cocaine use. No banks in Europe would normally hire convicted people from what I understand - instant dinge after background check
However, recently discover that France employment laws don’t allow for criminal records as part of the background check. Something strange like only showing serious crimes (with 1+ years prison etc)
Could anyone working in Paris please confirm the level of background check you went through to get the job?
If any other EU countries would have laws such as these, heard about Spain for example - please do let me know!!
