Gap Year Internship Help

Hey guys,

I'm just finishing up high school now and I have planned to do a gap year next year before I start university/college. I plan on making use of the time I will have so currently i'm in the process of looking for internships, FINANCE related. Thing is, THERE ARE NONE ADVERTISED!! I'm starting to worry as I would really like to do an internship starting in the summer for a couple of months at least!!

Can anyone give me tips or link me to any advertisements? I will be in living in London next year but I'm open to moving to the US in order to do a finance internship for high school graduates for a couple months.

If i'm not able to find one, what do you suggest I do for that year which could help me gain an insight to the finance industry? Do you know any programs for high school graduates?

Please, any answer to advise me on the right path and bumps are appreciated.
