Getting Sponsored (Tier 2 General Visa) In the UK

Hi. I worked in London for 3 years 7 years ago in IB. Did some other things along the way and earned my MBA. Looking to move back to London for IB (1Q 2024 IDEALLY start date, knock on wood, as so much has not gone per plan) for Senior Associate ideally. Are banks open to sponsoring first time tier 2 general visas? Keen to hear ground reality from those who work in IB. Thanks!
