Getting to London from US

I am a student in the US (US citizen) at a target school. This summer, I will be interning in M&A at a top bank. I am looking to make a near-term move to London for family reasons. What could my path look like if my end goal is PE in London. Am I eligible to complete a summer analyst program in London after my senior year and then do a year one year masters? How does visa situation work for switching over to PE after two years in London? Curious to know if anyone has done this and if they have any advice. Anything is appreciated

Thanks. Yes, I do have visa residence under that program, but I believe it is only for two years after graduation? That’s mostly where my confusion lies. If I am looking to switch to PE after two years, will I have to say that I will require sponsorship in the future? Would that hurt my chances?
