Going Abroad to LSE

I'm new here, just posted my intro, but I figured you guys would have good advice on this matter.

I have committed to going abroad for the academic year in London, and will be studying economics/finance courses at LSE. I am a rising junior, and I know that the late finish of English universities makes finding a summer internship difficult. I am still doing my summer finance internship at an advisory firm, and will be interviewing for an internship at a top Asset Management firm in London on Friday (where I will hopefully be interning during my time at LSE - for how long I do not know). Have any of you been in the same position, and if so, any advice on the matter?
