About Our Client
Our client is a Private Equity owned, consumer facing business that is highly profitable and has experienced sustained growth, primarily through acquisition, over recent years. The organisation has a clear vision and strategy and its core values include respect, professionalism and working in partnership.
They now need to recruit a Finance Director to support the CFO as they embark on the next exciting phase of its rapid growth strategy.
Job Description
The Finance Director will lead and develop both the commercial and operations finance teams with two direct reports and a collective team of ten. The remit for the role is broad and will include:
Delivery of well analysed management accounts, KPI's and Board Reports
Generate forward looking <span class='keyword_link'><a href="/resources/skills/finance/cash-flow">information including cash flow</a></span>, budgets, forecasts and plans working with operational management
Decision support and partnering to <span class='keyword_link'><a href="/resources/skills/finance/financial-performance">optimise financial performance</a></span>
Manage and develop process to ensure strong financial control
Ownership of year end and statutory requirements including liaison with external advisers
Deputise for the CFO and support with integration of acquired businesses
Ensuring finance systems are fit for purpose
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role you will be a qualified accountant, probably with previous experience in practice. You will have exposure to a medium sized, fast-paced, multi-site environment probably in the B2C sector.
The ability to manage a full finance function including financial accounting, statutory reporting through to FP&A and business partnering with a strong but supportive style is key.
What's on Offer
Salary of £70,000 - £90,000 plus 26 days holiday and healthcare
