High School Summer Internships - Should it be put on the CV?
Hi all,
I have a summer internship in high school at an insurance company (which was obtained through nepotism). Should this be put on my CV when applying for London summer internships? Will it be looked down upon to the point where it would be better not to include it?
Cheers.
Why would it be looked down upon? What would you replace it with on your CV?
I mean it would be very obvious that I got it through nepotism which I'm curious as to whether the UK is against that sort of thing. Just asking
Without it I wouldn't have much on my CV which is why ideally I'd like to include it if the nepotism aspect isn't frowned upon.
Thanks for your response btw.
Welcome to the real world mate, people get into the positions they have through the connections they have. This is not some hidden secret amongst adults, it's reality.
Either way the equation is very simple:
Blank CV that definitely gets tossed in trash vs not blank CV that might be looked down upon (which it won't but for sake of argument)
