How to break into IB

I’m currently at a retail bank (big 4 in the UK) on their Corporate Banking Graduate Scheme. I’ve had some good roles ( lev fin credit, derivative structuring) but I find some of the work boring and workflow minimal. Unfortunately, my firm doesn’t have an IB division. So, I want to move and try IB as an analyst elsewhere. Is there any chance of me getting into IB at a BB or IB in general? Have sent multiple applications off for these roles but heard nothing, so any tips welcome.
