How to mention existing offer to company I'm waiting to hear back from?

Don't want to go into detail but I received 1 verbal offer a few days ago while I'm still waiting to hear back from another. How do I mention to the pending firm that I'd like to hear from them soon? Can I use a verbal offer as leverage? Also what if the two roles are not that similar (eg. if one role is S&T the other IB), is it still worth bringing up to show that I'm "in demand"? Would love to hear any thoughts.
