How will coronavirus impact hiring at RE firms in London?

Hi everyone -- I'm currently finishing up my Masters in Real Estate Investment here in London and am wondering if anyone has any insight into his/her firm's approach to recruiting given the coronavirus? Background: I have 5 years of experience in both commercial PE and buy-side M&A in the Washington D.C. area. I decided to take a leap of faith and study RE in London in hopes to land a job here when the course is finalized. However, coronavirus happened.

I will be officially done in August but I also have structured this last term to be extremely flexible. I'm thinking of offering to work for free during the summer in hopes to prove myself and get in with either a PE or brokerage firm. Does anyone know how to best go about this? Anyone in the London area want a personal monkey for the summer?

Thanks for the help in advance.
