I am a bit stuck at my current job, any advice?

I am a M&A analyst for a tech company. Our firm is going through a restructuring process so M&A activities are slow. I applied to every corporate finance job out there, talked to recruiters and networked with people but haven’t got any luck yet.

I just want a job that can use all my skills and keep myself busy but it seems Toronto is not the most friendly city for a entry level monkey. Pay or prestige is not what I currently concern about.

I have the option to go to LSE Masters next year but i have alreayd got two degrees from McGill, Electrical Eng+ Joint Honours Econ & Finance. Getting a 3rd one (with 80,000 debt) and start as an analyst is not the optimal solution here.

Any advice?
