IB internship dilemma

Hey!

I'm currently facing a difficult decision regarding internship offers and would greatly appreciate your insights. I'm a European grad student attending a non-MBA master at a top5 b-school in the US.

Currently hold two internship offers from Tier-1 BBs: one in pure IB in London, the other in "public finance IB" in the US. My final goal would be "true" IB in the US as full-time.

Should I go for London and try to lateral in the US for full-time hoping for a market rebound in 2024? Or should I choose public finance and try to lateral to IB?

.

Thank you in advance for your time and valuable input.
