IB score for Spring Weeks

Attending Bocconi for my freshman year, and I am not sure my IB grade out of 45 will be sufficient to get Spring Week offers. Does the IB score matter a lot when it comes to getting Spring Week offers?

Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights regarding the importance of grades and other factors for securing Spring Week offers:

  1. Grades: While grades are important, they are not the only factor. A strong academic record can certainly help, but it's not the sole determinant.
  2. Early Application: Applying early is crucial. Recruitment for Spring Weeks often starts in late October/early November, and applications are reviewed in chronological order.
  3. Extracurricular Activities: Involvement in societies and other extracurricular activities can significantly enhance your CV. These experiences demonstrate your initiative and ability to balance multiple commitments.
  4. Networking: Engaging with professionals and attending insight days can provide valuable information and potentially give you an edge in the application process.

In summary, while your IB score is important, focusing on a well-rounded application with early submission, strong extracurricular involvement, and effective networking can improve your chances of securing a Spring Week offer.
