I worked in Sales and Trading. I left due to being unable to tolerate the work/life imbalance that existed. I am currently doing a PHD.

Can you elaborate more on the work/life imbalance? I will be starting FT next spring in S&T and after interning this summer I felt the balance was OK (much better than banking). In addition is OK to ask what desk you were on?
