Lateral hiring as an off-cycle analyst, London

I graduated. Following, I started a 6 month off-cycle internship at a BB in London. Problem: They offer spots for interns in 2023. Therefore, even if I will get the offer, I would have to wait 9 months without anything to do before starting as an analyst.

With 2 more months in the bank, I would like to secure a FT role without a gap after the internship. But how?

Lateral hiring through networking for FT? Anyone experience with that as an Intern? Is it even possible? What else can I do?

Go on holiday / do another off-cycle / pick up some new skills / languages - you won't have this much free time after work starts.

Wish I did this instead of jumping straight in...

I should mention that I went on a 2 months holiday before the internship and that I took a year off before university… That’s why I feel like not having more puffer

Honestly there is no rush to work. I was in same boat as most friends starting FT from uni were 21/22, but honestly I wish I travelled and chilled until 24/25 and then started FT. You'll be working for most of your life
