What about S&T to IBD?
Definitely a lot more difficult. You might be able to shoot from MM S&T to MM IB if you network hard, but MM S&T to BB IB - doubtful.

Mate, if this is you (S&T at MS/JPM/GS), only you will know. Has anyone else on the desk done it? I’m an associate at an MM in London (think Jeff/RBC/HL), and I know someone in our ER team that came from a VP role in ER to an associate role in IB. Only you’ll know how receptive your bank is to internal transfers.
