Lets say you go to a non target and get a job locally. Can you network your way to get a job on wall street.


Thanks. i was wondering if it was worth it since UF is completely free. The application season for undergrad is really bad for covid and my dream was always to work on wall street. Also is it more worthwhile to get a math degree and go to somewhere more elite for grad school.

Yes. You can always network to make your way to the street. Kill it with your grades, involve yourself as much as you can in finance clubs, and network network network. All it takes is one person to take a chance on you. There are lots of people on the street from non-targets. It just takes a lot more patience, persistence, and rejection to get there. But absolutely possible if you grind
