Liquidation Analysis Associate Case

Hi everyone,

So I'm interviewing for an IB associate position and have no idea what I'm doing but somehow made it to the final round and just need to do a case with a 13WCF and a liquidation analysis.

I know how to do basic accounting and 3 statement modelling but the spreadsheet they gave me is very complex and I'm not sure what I'm doing. I've never done or seen a liquidation analysis either. Are there any resources anyone recommends that might be able to teach me how to do a case like this in a day?

Or should I just call it quits and at the case discussion tell the interviewer I could only do part of the case but I'm a quick learner and would be willing to put in the work to learn what I need to before I start?

FYI while I'm interested in IB I wasn't really recruiting for it since I'm mainly interviewing for buy-side, I just happened to be recruited for this role so kind of just looking at this as an extra opportunity it would be nice to consider an offer for. To be clear I'm still giving this case my best shot, just trying to assess if it's feasible to learn how to perform a liquidation analysis from scratch in a day and a half.

Can provide more details about the case and the specific issues I'm having if necessary.

Thanks in advance!
