London - Networking tips (Does it even work?)
Never met anyone that got it's job by networking. Except if pulling daddy's connections counts as networking. Curious to hear how effective it is for someone without a rich daddy with connections and what tips are useful to know/use?

In this economic era you would ideally know someone to even be shortlisted for most jobs in London. There are just too many candidates for each role.
And yes, we have nepo kids and people who got in through internal referrals. They were qualified people, so it wasn't just about who they knew.

Hey, I worked hard to get where I am. Yes, someone referred me, but I would have gotten in anyway. It was just an introduction.
