Looking for career advice please

Hello everybody,

I hope I have come to the right place. I am at a crossroad in life and want to try and make sure I don’t make a costly and time consuming mistake.

I want to get onto a new career path but not sure what path would take me to my desired career.

Essentially, I want to be in a role that enables me to pitch pre ipo and ipo investments to retail, hnw and uhnw investors in the UK. I have made enquiries with the financial conduct authority but they weren’t much help.

I don’t think raising capital for companies is something a financial advisor does.

Can anybody please advise me on the best path to take?

Would it be a PE, VC or IB professional that pitches stock to investors??

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Thank you in advance. 🙏
