Lost Contact After A Call

I manage to schedule a call with an MD. They told me they could be able to have an informal chat/interview. I sent him an email later that day. Got no reply and for the next week they wasnt due back in office until the following week.

For the past 2-3 weeks, I havent heard nothing. Should I assume either,

a) i done something wrong  during the call etc and so they are just ignoring me or

b) they are busy and maybe missed the email when they got back in office since i sent it at the start of their time off

Can anyone advise on whether I should follow up assuming it is option (b) or just leave it because they probably didnt like me anyway

Provided you don't have zero social IQ and there weren't any signals that they aren't actually interested, assume B.

MD's are busy, as is just about everyone in investment banking. 9 times out of 10 they just forgot. Send a gentle reminder now, and then another in a few days if you still haven't heard anything. If after that second reminder you hear nothing then leave him be and move on.
