Lost on what’s next

Hello, been working for a few months now in a very toxic reputable sweatshop group that has me realize that I don’t want to stay in banking longer than a year. I knew from my internship that I hated the work and the culture but I thought I could endure it for two years but it has been worse than I could ever imagine to the point that I had to go to the hospital due to health complications from the job.

I know I want to quit after bonus hits but I’m unsure of what to do next. Im very turn off by finance overall and realize that I don’t need that much money to live happily as I live very modest. I semi enjoyed my previous finance internships but they aren’t much better in terms of culture.

I been looking into corp dev/strategy tech roles but I’m very concern that going this route would be something I regret long term. Would appreciate any advice from individuals who may have been in this situation?
