Mizuho vs Societe Generale vs HSBC Global Markets Summer Internship
Got S&T offers at these 3 banks in London over the summer and need to choose one.
Mizuho: Rates Sales desk only (non-rotational) and they only do fixed income.
Soc Gen and HSBC each have 3 rotations on the internship and have a large variety of desks for grads to choose from.
My main goal is to convert to a grad job. I have also heard Japanese culture is better. I was leaning towards SocGen due to the fact that it is rotational (HSBC is restructuring in IB so not sure if that could affects markets in coming years). I believe comp is similar across all 3 banks.
What would you guys choose?
Bump
Well considering HSBC is downsizing their London office i'd say avoid
