Need help deciding which offer to take.

I am stuck between choosing two offers (both in London and both 6 month off-cycle internships with option to convert to full-time if you perform well):

1st offer: Citi Financial Strategy Group (it's in the IBD division but don't really get what they do/ their exposure to clients and if they get bonuses for deals or not? Not sure if they work on actual deals)

2nd offer: Macquarie Capital M&A Group (IBD division). This group I know work on deals and advise clients

please help I'm very stuck and have no idea which is better for career progression, career exits and bonuses/pay
